May Workshop on Meditation
Monday, May 11th, 2009“Meditation — A Pathway to Serenity”
is this month’s topic in Serenity’s continuing series of workshops. Join us Saturday, May 16, at noon for the 1-hour
presentation. Plan to be seated during the workshop, so you might want to bring a folding chair, pillow, or something soft to sit on. We’ll take a look at some of the latest research into the benefits of meditation, review some of the types of meditation, talk about how
to meditate — and then we’ll actually do it. Whether you’re a regular meditator — or are just starting to wonder if it might be for you — we’ll share information, experiences, and questions about this ancient practice, and its application in our modern world. As always, our workshops are open to all women, both members and nonmembers.
