October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month at Serenity
Monday, October 5th, 2009Trainer Jenn Crabtree is hosting October’s free workshop Saturday, October 10, at noon. She’s focusing on breast cancer awareness and prevention,
in conjunction with the nation-wide emphasis breast cancer awareness during the month. Jenn will discuss the latest information on the fight against breast cancer. So bring a friend or family member and join us on Saturday, October 10, at noon.

Jenn is also one of Serenity’s leaders in building a team of staff and members to take part in the 2009 Komen San Diego Race for the Cure, a 5k (3.2 miles) run/walk. The race takes place Sunday, November 1 at 8:00 a.m. Register at Serenity’s front desk by October 16, or online at www.komensandiego.org.
